 | UK workers are being offered a reward of £20,000 (E28,800, $35,600) for blowing the whistle on employers who use pirated computer software, which accounts for over a quarter of all software used in British businesses.
Global industry group, the Business Software Alliance, the members of which include US computing giants such as Microsoft, HP, Cisco and Apple as well as European software developers such as Germany’s SAP, has decided to double its existing £10,000 bounty for anyone who reports illegal corporate software use before the end of June.
